Today I will show you a tip which is based on a error message that I got on my Visual Studio 2012.
The message says something like this:
“Unable to start debugging on the web server. The version of clr.dll in the target does not match the one mscordacwks.dll was built for.”
This is the error message’s screenshot:
The solution to this problem is quite simple.
Finish the Windows Update and restart your machine.
That is it, this action should solve the problem. This error happens because when you try to debug something Visual Studio will try to access a resource that is being updated. Therefore when the update finishes everything should be back to normal.
Thanks for reading.
